Our team brings over 40 years of general construction expertise and has been a distributed energy market leader in executing on over 1.2 GW’s of Solar PV and 400 MWh’s of stand-alone and solar-coupled battery energy storage projects: over 100 unique projects across the United States.
Meet the Team
An accomplished renewable energy executive, thought leader, and operations and quality expert, Sean has led over 100 successful Solar and Energy Storage projects totaling $500 MM. Sean is an accomplished renewable energy infrastructure leader who has provided EPC services for 70 (400 MW’s) Solar and 30 (300MWh’s) of battery energy storage projects. Clients include Algonquin Utilities, Con Edison Renewable, Duke Energy, United States Army, Doosan, and various IPP’s.

CEO and Founder
Renewable executive with more than 8 years of experience executing PV Solar (400MW+), BESS (150MWhrs+), and Wind energy projects (500MW+) across the USA. His core expertise lies in value engineering, procurement, estimation and cost control, contracts, project risk mitigation and construction management (both self-perform and subcontracts). Prateek has been successful in developing core teams around him to execute EPC work for clients like Xcel Energy, Eversource, Goldman Sachs, Con Edison and various regional and national IPPs.

Executive Vice President and Founder
With over 8 years of experience in the construction industry, Steven has dedicated his focus to the renewable energy sector. Steven has actively participated in the development and construction of over 1 gigawatt (1GW) of operational solar and battery storage projects, collaborating closely with Operations teams. At DEI, Steven holds the responsibility for ensuring the overall financial health of the organization. His key contributions include developing and enhancing processes and strategies to mitigate risk, eliminate wasteful spending, and strategically foster the sustainable growth of the organization.
Steven Maslen
Director of Finance
Daniel is a licensed Professional Electrical Engineer in the State of California with 10 years of experience between energy storage design, engineering, commissioning, and operations, distributed energy resource enterprise integration, renewable energy product development, power system protection and automation, and solar power plant performance engineering. Daniel has designed over 4GWh in preferred energy storage bids for clients such as Duke Energy, Avantus (8 Minute Energy), Samsung, Primergy Solar.
Daniel Spaizman
Director of Engineering
Oversees all EPC projects for DEI’s PV and BESS installations to ensure the highest quality installation that DEI strives to provide. David brings a unique perspective while holding 5 Master Electrical licenses, having physically constructed PV projects, and working for a prominent developer. Execution-focused, he has completed over 130 DG Projects totaling (500MW+) of PV and (30MWhrs+) of BESS projects.
